I made it to just under 1800 irating in my first month on iracing. Been doing the mrc a couple weeks. I’m confident I probably could have hit 2k if I kept pushing but I’ve stopped doing races and have been doing the academy challenges recently instead (which I love) 🙂 I’m always apprehensive to pay for courses and things like this, but the course genuinely delivered and offered great value. I haven’t even finished all the modules yet, I’m excited to keep improving and seeing how my performance continues to improve!

I got MRC a while back, reviewed it, and then set it aside. After that, my iRating took a nosedive—I was struggling in every way imaginable. Traffic issues, overdriving, braking mistakes—you name it, I was probably doing it wrong. I decided to take a break from official races during the spring, summer, and most of the fall. During that time, I ran a few AI races here and there while revisiting and learning from the course. What this course offers really clicked for me. Somehow, it just made sense to my 38-year-old brain and completely transformed my approach. Racing has become so much smoother and way more enjoyable. I highly recommend this course and encourage taking your time with it. Breaking old habits is tough, but with patience and a solid blueprint to guide you, it's absolutely possible to rebuild.

The MRC helped me a lot to understand the behaviour of the car. I bought the Checklist in April this year and i already got to 3k IRating. I can recommend the course. It is a better investment in your laptimes than some new Hardware for your Rig. đź‘Ť
@morsm
The MRC is amazing; I've finished all the videos twice, and I believe I still need to watch again because there are a lot of good tips, and it is impossible to get everything at first. I had a personal goal to get a 2k iRating up to the end of this year, and on October 25th, I had already archived it. Only TWO months later, the first time I ever touched a SIM Racing in my life. And definitely, without the MRC, that wouldn't be possible. I bought the Motor Racing Checklist on September 21st, and it's a huge difference in my iRating. It also is helping me get a pretty good standing on the Global Mazda Cup; I'm in 2nd place in my Division(Division 5) less than 3 months of SIM Racing. Nothing of that would be possible without learning the concepts well before getting bad habits. Thank you @Suellio Almeida for the course!
